About Sting
After a failed attempt at a Police reunion in 1985, Sting began to work on a n new album, dedicated to his mother. Again working from a jazz foundation, he collaborated with Branford Marsalis, who had worked with his on his previous album. "Nothing Like the Sun" was reveived to good reviews, and it generated the hits 'We'll Be Together' and 'They Dance Alone.'
